MARGARET McWILLIAMS PRE-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP: $10,000 The candidate must have completed at least one full calendar year as a full-time student in doctoral level studies, and be a full-time student, at the time of application. She may be studying abroad. DR. MARION ELDER GRANT FELLOWSHIP: funded by CFUW/Wolfville $9,000 The candidate must be studying full-time at the Master's or doctoral level, in Canada or abroad. All else being equal, preference will be given to the holder of an Acadia University degree. CFUW MEMORIAUPROFESSIONAL FELLOWSHIP: $5,000 The candidate must be enrolled in a Master's degree program in science and technology in academic year 2000-2001. She may be studying abroad. BEVERLEY JACKSON FELLOWSHIP: funded by UWC North York $3,000 The candidate must be over the age of 35 at the time of application and enrolled in graduate work at an Ontario university. 1989 POLYTECHNIQUE COMMEMORATIVE AWARD: $1,400 For graduate studies in any field, with special consideration given to study of issues related particularly to women. The onus is on the candidate to justify the relevance of her work to women. BOURSE GEORGETTE LEMOYNE: $2,000 For graduate study at a Canadian university where one of the languages of administration and instruction is French. MARGARET DALE PHILP AWARD: funded by CFUW/Kitchener-Waterloo $1,000 For graduate studies in the humanities or social sciences with special consideration given to study in Canadian History. The candidate must reside in Canada. ALICE E. WILSON AWARD: Two awarded, $1,500 For graduate studies in any field, with special consideration given to candidates returning to study after at least three years.
