Open to other suggestions of who to approach. 6) NEWSLETTER - distributed a draft for members to see - submit any pictures and/or descriptions of yourself (disc or hard copy) to Allen at aeng@credit.erin.utoronto,ca, or to Karen's mailbox at York by December 19th. - should be prepared to be mailed out for November 27 7) RORSCHACH WORKSHOP PROPOSAL - Pavla presented the workshop proposal - Tentative Date: start Thurs. Jan 19th at 6:30 - $500 plus covering photocopying materials, parking, and workbook; total approx $650 - so with 15 people, that is a cost of approx $43 each (plus cost of workbook) - recommend that students pay a non-refundable deposit, on a first come, first serve basis - also ask if students want to order the workbook or not (as some students may already own it), charge one price for workshop alone, and another for workshop plus book - contacting Caversham to see if we can get a deal (or free copy) if buy in bulk. If not, Pavla will order - Pavla and Sandra will make up a contract - Allan reported that OISE has a room (an incredible room at that) available Thursday evenings; Sandra will check to see what the capacity and availablity of the OPA Board room is - determine location at that point - Sandra and Pavla will e-mail the final details and costing to executive members at which point we can decide whether we want to try to make a small profit or operate at cost. - we can let students from other areas know that if they send proposals for workshops that they would like in their areas, SOSIP can provide some funding support. - open invitation to all students via the newsletter, e-mail and webpage if up before Dec. 15th 8) BILLETING PROJECT - haven't done much work on this, perhaps table this to develop for next year. NEXT MEETING: January (or earlier if need be)
